A typical granite stone house in the Gerês mountains in Northern Portugal, 20km from Braga and 80km from Porto. Located in Sequeirós, near the village of Terras de Bouro, you'll be able to relax from the day to day stress and enjoy pure nature. The house has 3 bedrooms, 2 bathrooms, open space kitchen (fully equipped, dishwasher) and living room with a cozy fireplace. There is a small river beach 200m away, a bigger lake (Barragem da Caniçada) offering all kind of water sports is just 20km away.

The rustic house has two floors. On the ground floor there is a beautiful living room, nicely sized, with comfortable sofas around the fireplace, a raised open space kitchen with dining area and a WC. On the second floor there are three bedrooms (two with double beds and one with two single beds) and a bathroom with a bathtub and overhead shower that serves the three bedrooms. Nature: The Peneda-Gerês National Park (PNPG) is characterised by its rich natural and cultural heritage and is one of the last strongholds in the country where ecosystems can be found in their natural state, with little or no human influence, integrated into a stunning landscape. Mata da Albergaria, considered the ‘heart of the PNPG’, is one of these sites and has been recognised as one of Europe's Biogenetic Reserves. The Caniçada reservoir, located in the heart of the Gerês valley, offers services and attractive conditions for practising a range of nautical activities. Gastronomy: Terras de Bouro's gastronomic offer is characterised by the preparation and presentation of the most varied delicacies, such as pork in bean stew with cabbage or roast goat of organic origin from the Serra do Gerês, complemented by cornbread, Gerês honey and teas, among many other traditional delicacies. Health: The Termas do Gerês date back to Roman times, but it wasn't until the beginning of the 18th century that the first Thermal Establishment was built, which has now been renovated and extended, becoming a true Thermal Resort combining comfort, relaxation and nature.
